At one point in this campaign, there were 14 of us running.
I was at two percent in the polls.
But last night, Iowa did what Iowa does so well.
And when you look at how we are doing in New Hampshire, in South Carolina, and beyond, I think we can safely say . . .
Yesterday, Iowa made this Republican primary a two-person race!
Make no mistake, this is a contest between Donald Trump and me. The question that every American must now answer is, do you want more of the same, or do you want a new generation of conservative leadership?
When I ask, “do you want more of the same,” you know what I’m talking about. It’s both Donald Trump and Joe Biden. It’s about whether you want to stay stuck in the past or move into a better future.
Donald Trump and Joe Biden have so much in common. → Seventy percent of Americans don’t want another Trump-Biden rematch.
→ Most Americans disapprove of both.
→ Trump and Biden are both about 80 years old.
→ Trump and Biden both put our country trillions of dollars deeper in debt.
→ And Trump and Biden both lack a vision for our country’s future . . . because both are consumed by the past, by investigations, and by vendettas and grievances.
America deserves better!
We deserve a new direction under new conservative leadership.
We deserve a president who will focus on the needs of our people, not on themselves.
We deserve a president who will rebuild our economy, close our border, and stand up to our enemies.
And most importantly, we deserve a president who will stop our self-loathing, end the division and fear, and make America strong and proud!
Our campaign is the last best hope of stopping another Trump-Biden nightmare. I am committed to the fight, but I cannot do it alone. I need every American who knows that we can be better as a country to join me. Will YOU join me before it’s too late?
Republicans have lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections. That is nothing to be proud of. We should want to earn the support of a majority of Americans.
All the evidence shows that if it’s a Trump-Biden rematch, it’s going to be another tossup election. It could go either way. We could have more disputes over election interference. And Joe Biden could win again, with Kamala Harris waiting in the wings.
Every recent poll shows that when I go head-to-head against Biden we win in a landslide. It’s not even close.
That means no recounts, no lawsuits, and no doubts. It means no more Chuck Schumer leading the Senate. No more endless votes for House Speaker because we’ll have a huge House majority. We’ll term limit the do-nothing Washington politicians. We’ll rebuild our economy and secure our border. And make no mistake, we will restore our national pride. We are blessed to live in America, and it’s time we remembered that.
As we head into New Hampshire with just one week left until the primary, I have one more thing to say: “Underestimate Me. That’s Always Fun.”
I have never lost a race and I don’t intend to start now. I am in this to win, and I hope that I can count on having you by my side.
We don’t have to go backwards. We are not destined to a repeat of Trump-Biden, but I need your help. Please chip in whatever you can today.

I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.

I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
